A faithful reproduction of the 1940s U.S. Army Officer’s chino, built with authenticity, durability, and everyday wear in mind.

Originally designed for officers during WWII, these trousers became the foundation for modern chinos thanks to their practical cut, robust construction, and comfortable fit. Our version stays true to those originals, using period-correct detailing, style and fit, and traditional manufacturing techniques throughout.

They’re made from 10oz cotton canvas closely matching the fabric used on the original issue trousers. The cloth has a firm hand, wears in beautifully, and holds its structure over time.

Construction details include double-welted pockets, twin-needle chain stitching, and reproduction 1940s U.S. Army reproduction metal buttons. The fit is classic, with a straight leg and mid-to-high rise — designed to be worn hard and age properly.
